An album to pay respects to a girl who was troubled and killed herself, as well as dealing with my own suicidal feelings. It was to be released as a 7inch record on Warm Bath but it never came out and I was never told why.
The booklet was created by making the backgrounds first. This was done deep in the forest at night on a journal made of special paper. The journal was from a time in my life where I was not functional. I ripped out pages, would smear glue over them and just find leaves, twigs, and forest debris to sprinkle on and affix to the page. I then scanned them in to the computer and added the text, as well as make them monochrome.
Each copy of the record would have come with a blood soaked towel fragment from self-inflicted wounds.
The front and back cover art was hand drawn in ink by Connor Fitzgibbons. The girl the album is dedicated to was found hanging in her room which was the source of inspiration.
